Europe: Prehistoric
Back-Knifes (Rückenmesser)
1

Typical Back Knives mostly consist of a large uniface Silex flake, which one length edge is dulled and more or less carefully retouched. The facing length edge, or only the tip, will form the knife cutting edge.

All back knives are own finds of He-Artefakte from a mesolithic place!
