*All offered artifacts are ancient, no new manufacturings but before you purchase, please note, that the determination into the corresponding dynasties is very difficult since the artifacts were often used unchangedly over a longer culture time period. Even experts often have various opinions.

The dynasties mentioned here, were all determinated by Chinese experts. Since the determinations are subject to various interpretations, a correction is reserved. A return because of wrong dynasty classification is not possible*

General remark:

Please notice, in found condition many of the Jade Artifacts and Bi-Discs were strongly calcinated and were more or less cleaned (un)properly. Therefore the impression can result for a replication because after cleaning the most of them were polished with (bee)wax.

All Jade Artifacts are carefully examined microscopically and only originals will come into the sale.

Please, take into account, that packing is more consuming, because I want, that the Artifacts shall arrive you undamaged!

ASIA:

Large handmade ancient snuff bottle, made of reddishly brown overlay glass.

On both sides the bottles painted from inside very fine and detailed with 2 different scenes.

Painting with silver-coloured background and artist monogram "Zhou Le Yuan"* and Chinese text.

Each foreside is decorated with beautiful ornaments, engraved by hand.

The seal consists of red glass paste with brass edging.

The bottle is unused, it only was used as decoration.

Time Period:

Approximately end of the Quing dynasty at 1912 or newer.

ca. 108x84x38 mm

Weight: ca. 190 g
